smartphoneSoftware programs are no longer called programs, they are called apps. So what's involved in creating an app for your phone or tablet? Andy Craze of DXY Solutions will show us some of the apps DXY has done. After that Andy will talk about the differences and problems creating apps vs. standard programs. At the end, he will discuss Cleveland GiveCamp, the annual weekend event to build websites for non-profit organizations.

Andy is a 30-year veteran of the software industry and a serial (sometimes parallel) entrepreneur. Currently he is a Partner & Senior Developer at DXY Solutions, Founder and sole developer at Codeswell and Founder of the Cleveland Beer Company. He holds a BS degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University and has been interested in software and robotics for as long as he can remember. Andy is a Cleveland native who lived on the west coast for 10 years and returned home in 1995.

FYI - There maybe construction going on East 22nd Street. If needed, you can enter the parking garage via the exits on East 21st Street.
