Search engine optimization has changed significantly, largely because of Google updates called Panda and Penguin – and a whole new writing of the Google algorithm: Hummingbird.

In 2014, the emphasis is on creating remarkable content and promoting it brilliantly on social media channels. Many old school tactics can now hurt your site so what you don’t know can hurt you. Find out more.

We are very fortunate to have Leslie Carruthers (@TheSearchGuru), the President of The Search Guru, Inc., to update us at our March 15, 2014 meeting.

Leslie is a seasoned Internet marketing professional and search engine marketer. Her background includes Internet marketing since 1999 and search engine marketing (SEM) since 2001. Leslie was named one of the top women in SEO for 2012.
