Cloud 101The "cloud" is all around us these days. Dropbox, iCloud, Office 365 to name a few. You are probably using the cloud without even realizing it as some companies no longer have servers in their offices. It's all out there somewhere in the cloud.
Join us as Jeffery E. Gezymalla, a Delivery Engineer with Paragrid, Inc, will explain the basics of Cloud 101. Paragrid is a virtualization company based in Independence, and is listed in the Inc. 5000’s list of fastest growing private companies for 2012 and 2013. Paragrid provides cloud computing, security and storage solutions.
Topics to be covered include:
  • What is "The Cloud" & why do you need to know?
  • What's going on behind the scenes with hardware & software?
  • How are companies like Citrix and VMware are leading the way?
  • What does it cost?  What does it save?
