General Meeting - WordPress, It's Not Just For Bloggers

  • 10 Nov 2012
  • 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Main Classroom Building Rm 136, East 22nd & Chester Ave., Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio
Have you thought about creating a website, but the idea of dealing with HTML and cascading style sheets scares the you know what out of you? WordPress is your solution. GM, UPS, eBay, Sony, Volkswagen and many other organizations use WordPress for all or part of their websites.

Instead thinking of WordPress as a blogging tool, think of it as a content management system (CMS) that help you create a website that looks nothing like a blog and has many powerful features. Join us as local WordPress expert Heidi Cool introduces us to WordPress.

Important Cleveland State Parking Notice

Due to a large number of complaints, parking is again permitted in the garage under Main Classroom Building where we meet. However, the cost is $10, even on Saturday.

There is cheaper visitor parking across East 22nd St in the garage under the Student Center. You can walk across East 22nd to Main Classroom or go upstairs and use the plaza. Click here for more details. You can pay with $1 or $5 bills or debit / credit cards. The cost is $1 / half hour.

Starting in December, we will probably be meeting in Student Center.
