General Meeting - The Home Digital Entertainment Revolution

  • 11 Jun 2011
  • 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Audiocraft, 3915 Carnegie Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio
The days of a turntable, 8 track player, speakers and an amp, are long gone. Computers, the internet and video have entered the picture along with a host of new terminology and acronyms. It's a whole new world to navigate.

Join us for this special meeting at Audio Craft at 3915 Carneige, just blocks from our regular meeting location at CSU. See the special map on the home page. Note: the meeting will start at 9:30, but we will not have our normal question and answer period. Audio Craft will be providing coffee and pastries. There is free parking in the lot next to Audio Craft on Carneige. Enter the building at the front.

Terry Wade of Audio Craft will start with an explanation of audio terminology and demos of various sound files and equipment. Spike Radway and Scott Seifert of Team Spike will then take us on a tour of the video options with demos there will also be demo stations where you can see the equipment close up.
