WebSigCleveland.org - Business Model Canvas Suite

  • 16 Jan 2016
  • 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Room 123, Regina Complex, Notre Dame College, 1857 South Green Road, (formerly Regina High School building) South Euclid, Ohio 44121-4293

The Business Model Canvas Suite is rapidly being adapted by businesses and software companies. It is a “living” version of the business plan, but instead of using sentences and paper, one uses “sticky” notes on a wall “canvas.” It visually clarifies what you are doing and why.

So many programmers are “told” what to code. This workshop will broaden your horizon to the process of “why” something needs to be coded. What happens before code is written?

We are going to walk through the first canvas in the suite, creating the Value Proposition Map, which identifies the customer’s needs, pains, and gains, and how well it maps to our (workshop) website. So see how you can validate what, why, and how you should make the website long before you write a line of code.

Sue Marrone (@suem821) facilitates the Business Model Canvas Suite and has done so for many companies large and small, including Prince George Community College, Washington, DC; and the Ohio Department of Transportation, Department of Opportunity, Diversity and Inclusion.

Please see the meeting location map and directions for the room location.
