General Meeting - OneDrive and Windows 10 Privacy Tips & Tools

  • 14 Nov 2015
  • 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  • CSU Student Center Third Floor Meeting Rooms, 2121 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio 44115
For November, we will have two presentations. Microsoft OneDrive and then Windows 10 Privacy Tips and Tools.

OneDrive is Microsoft's cloud storage product. For free, you can store up to five GB of your files in the cloud, your computers and mobile devices. With paid plans, you can store up to one TB of documents, spreadsheets, photos, videos and music. By organizing into folders, you can share files with others. Lori Berenson will show us OneDrive and how she uses it with family and in her business.

There has been a lot of discussion about Windows 10 and how it violates the user's privacy by sending data back to Microsoft about how Windows and programs are being used. We will look at the various settings and see what is going on. We will also look at some utilities to manage the settings.
