General Meeting - Microsoft Windows Home Server

  • 09 Oct 2010
  • 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Main Classroom Building Rm 136, East 22nd & Chester Ave., Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio
Do you have a computer network in your home or office? If you have a router and a bunch of computers sharing an internet connection, you have a network. Maybe you have a computer that is a server for your network. Did you know that Microsoft has a reasonably price, easy to setup server package called Windows Home Server?

The Home Server can be a central storage place for all your files, be they documents, pictures, video or music. It can help you backup all your computers every night while you sleep. It can co-exist with an existing server. Windows and Mac computers can use it. You want to have a web server with your own domain name? Home Server can do that too. Want to stream video and music? That too. As part of the presentation, we will also get to see a preview of the next version of Home Server, which is scheduled for release 1st half 2011.

Join us as Kevin Royalty, Managing Partner at Total Care Computer Computing demonstrates Microsoft Windows Home Server and shows us all it can do.

Directions to the meeting are available here.
