General Meeting - Windows 10 Preview

windows 10In late September Microsoft announced the Technical Preview of its latest operating system, Windows 10. As usual, our presenter, Bob Coppedge from Simplex-IT  was first in line to obtain his copy and he has been putting it through its paces on the test bench since then. We think you’re going to be impressed with what Bob has to report.

Responding to feedback, Microsoft has taken great pains to integrate the best features of Windows 7 and Windows 8 and early indications are they have succeeded. In addition, Windows 10 has been designed from the ground up to run across a broad array of form factors – desktops, laptops, tablets, phablets and smartphones. According to Microsoft, “There will be one way to write a universal application, one store, one way for apps to be discovered, purchased and updated across all of these devices.”
