Google's Fusion Tables is an experimental data visualization web application to gather, visualize, and share data tables. Faith will show how to use this technology to take tabular data and pull it into a Google map which you can embed on your site.

As the Social Media Specialist for a local television station, Faith has experience with important issues regarding how the station interacts with the public on social media. Faith will also share advice on how to react appropriately on social media as it relates to negative engagement. She will be available to answer your questions regarding developing a social media plan.

Faith Boone's career in journalism started at Sun Newspapers where she learned how beneficial social media is to the news industry. She was then the Social Media Strategist for Stevens Strategic Communications public relations and crisis management firm. Currently, Faith manages all social media for WEWS NewsChannel5, and helps anchors/reporters with social network engagement. She manages resources at the television station, and where appropriate researches analytics for: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Vine, Instagram, Storify, and Skype.
