What Content Management Systems Hath Wrought--A Brief Look at the Revolution in Flexible Online Content

With improvements in content management systems, web copy creators can now easily control the content on their website(s). Content has always been king, but since writers can now more easily place copy on their websites, they now have more responsibility to create high quality content.

At our February 21st meeting, writer, editor, marketing consultant, and writing coach John Ettorre (@WorkinWithWords) will share with us how improvements in content management systems have led to changes in writing workflow. John specializes in developing compelling website content that helps organizations tell their stories online. Since 1996, he has played a central role in developing the message for well over 100 websites, large and small. During that time, he has written web copy for dozens of major brand names, including Travelocity, Wells Fargo, Goodyear, Citizens Bank, GOJO Industries, Sun Trust, Cleveland Clinic, Intercontinental Hotels, and Kay and Jared Jewelers.
