General Meeting - Microsoft Office 2010

  • 08 May 2010
  • 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Main Classroom Building Rm 136, East 22nd & Chester Ave., Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio
Microsoft is releasing the 2010 version of its popular Office suite. So what's new? User interface updates? Extended file compatibility? A refined user experience? Well, there are plenty of changes. Outlook has been over hauled and Word, Excel and PowerPoint all have some changes as well. Some say the biggest change is real time collaboration.  Others say it’s the free online versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Others still (ok, only our speaker) really likes the smiley and frowney faces (and he’s actually serious about that.  But what does that mean for you? What are the upgrade options?

Our old friend, Bob Coppedge from Simplex-IT has been using the beta of Office 2010 and knows most of the ins and outs of the new suite and will explain all.  And time permitting, he might talk about the Microsoft Business Professional Online Services (BPOS) as well! Come and find out.

Directions to the meeting are available here.
